The Improved Shell Collection
The highly sought after Shell collection, designed by Jan des Bouvrie, has been enhanced and improved for 2010. The sofa, dining chair and easy chair (black/white) will now be made from superior Batyline fibre. The bases will now only have the electro-polished finish as oppose to the brushed finish.

Batyline® is a man made woven plyester fibre enclosed in a PVC coating. Batyline fibres are bundled together to create exceptional strength, resistance to stretch and are not vulnerable to cracking. The PVC coating delivers not only protection from all weather conditions it also guards against UV damage.
The PVC coating does not absorb moisture and this results in a quick-drying time, superior resistance to staining and is exceptionally easy to clean.
The Shell Collection has now been made simpler and less confusing for customers; with chairs only available in a reflective electro-polished finish. Tables in Shell Collection will remain available in both the brushed and electro-polished finish.
