Functional & High Quality Design – All the way from Europe

With the support of the European Union some 40 European interior design related companies will visit Japan from 24 to 28 October 2011, taking a chance at establishing a presence on the Japanese market. During a weeklong Business Mission, the participants will be given a comprehensive overview of the Japanese interior retail market, practical tips on approaching and doing business with Japanese retailers and experience the Japanese interior market first hand by visiting places such as select shops, department stores in and outside of Tokyo. The main focus will be a two-day exhibition held for the fourth time under the brand name european design at the Hilton Hotel Tokyo. european design is an exclusive boutique style exhibition dedicated to presenting European interior design, carefully selected for their uniqueness, high quality and above all design. The exhibition is the best opportunity for professional visitors to see the latest EU designs, gain inspiration and network with existing and potential suppliers. Exhibits will include a wide variety of functional, timeless and innovative products covering textiles, floor coverings, indoor and outdoor furniture, lighting, tableware & ceramics, and decorative accessories.
